About our Author
A passion for languages drives Noura, one of our editors. A true linguist love-affair started in her first language, Hungarian, closely followed her mother tongue, Arabic. Noura has since studied Spanish, German and Japanese, receiving academic accolades and scholarships; first-class BA honours in Linguistics (University of Essex), MSt in General Linguistics and Comparative Philology (University of Oxford), and a PhD in Morphology (University of Essex). Before Diligencia, Noura has thrived in teaching and research roles at Misurata University, University of Essex and several NHS institutions. Noura's Moments of Clarity are undoubtably when weaving traditional Libyan carpets; a skill she learned from her grandmother, and now a legacy she wants her son to embrace, as one of Libyans’ greatest assets.
